Un par de twins de performance con una relación base-altura equilibrada y foils interiores planos. El nombre es la proporción: base y profundidad quedan casi igualadas, en lugar de la forma de base larga y poca profundidad de una keel.
Cómo se traduce eso
Unas proporciones parejas sitúan la quilla entre los dos extremos del twin. Hay base suficiente para empujar en la línea y profundidad suficiente para agarrar cuando la pared se pone vertical, así que el juego ni se clava como una keel ni se va de lado como un twin pequeño y vertical. Los foils interiores planos lo mantienen convencional y predecible: sustentación donde la esperas, y ninguna sorpresa cuando te comprometes con un canto.
A quién le va

The near-equal base and height ratio shortens the long, drawn-out feel of a true keel and puts the drive into a more compact footprint, and the flat inside foil keeps the set fast without making it twitchy.
Our take
Run the 5x5 on a fish or twin you want to surf aggressively, especially shorter swallow-tail shapes where a full keel feels glued down. If your board is a longer, flatter fish and you want classic drawn-out keel trim, the Gephart 70/30 Keels are the better call.
