La Heritage rinde homenaje al estilo de surf original y al diseño clásico de quillas. Inspirada en las plantillas de pivote tradicionales, esta quilla es un diseño propio de True Ames, hecho para quien tiene ganas de mantener vivo el estilo de longboard de otras épocas. Piensa en echarte muy atrás y pivotar desde la cola, encontrar ese trim perfecto y quedarte clavado en el nose. Esta quilla está como en casa en longboards de estilo clásico que tienen algo de peso y colas cuadradas anchas. La Heritage funciona especialmente bien en longboard de estilo point y en beach breaks con olas entre la rodilla y el pecho. The combination is deliberate: the wide base holds the tail down so the nose lifts, and the drawn-out rake keeps sweeping turns clean rather than skittish. It is built to do one job extremely well rather than to cover every board you own.
Put it on a heavy classic log when nose time is the whole point and you want the tail planted under you. If you would rather surf rail to rail and turn off the tail, the Greenough Stage III or the more versatile Hobie Classic are better fits; the Heritage is single-minded by design.

The Heritage is True Ames' in-house single fin based on traditional pivot templates, combining a wide base with drawn-out rake. It is built in fiberglass and comes in three sizes, 9.75 inch, 10.0 inch, and 10.5 inch, in a wide range of colors. It is intended for heavy classic longboards with wide square tails in knee-to-chest-high surf.
