El juego Lovelace FM Twinzer se diseñó específicamente para ir con el modelo de tabla FM de Ryan. Los nubs delanteros llevan un foil simple con la cara interior plana, mientras que el diseño twin trasero lleva un doble foil 50/50. Este juego tan particular ofrece mucha velocidad, mucho drive y la capacidad de hacer carves de canto pesados y giros amplios y fluidos cuando lo montas en la tabla adecuada. Aquí van algunas notas de diseño más de Ryan... "Estas quillas se diseñaron específicamente para la colocación bastante rara de mi diseño de tabla FM; a más de 2" del canto en mid lengths y casi paralelas; con o sin la quilla delantera, según lo que prefiera el rider. La plantilla en general plel hecho de que lleven doble foil las apunta de forma bastante clara hacia los diseños twin de midlength, para dibujar carves enlazados y amplios. Esta plantilla tiene bastante más superficie que la mayoría de twins normales. Así que, si las usas en una tabla distinta del modelo 'FM' con el que se diseñaron, yo sugeriría usarlas o bien en twins de midlength, o por parte de surfistas más grandes en twins del rango de los 6', o por surfistas a los que les gusta cargar mucho el canto y meter drive. Como alternativa, el keel Piggyback es una plantilla muy parecida y, en un tamaño menor, encaja mejor con twins de tamaño 'normal'."

It holds through carves like a quad but keeps the freedom and squirt of a twin -- somewhere between the two, with more bite than a plain twin and less track than a locked-in quad.
This is the matched set for an FM or a similar off-the-rail, near-parallel mid-length twin, where it draws long, connected, arcing carves with real hold. It pays back juicier waves more than small mush, and if your boxes are in a conventional twin position, a standard twin set will sit better.

The Lovelace FM Twinzer is a four-fin set Ryan Lovelace designed for his FM mid-length: a pair of double-foiled rear twins plus a pair of small single-foiled front canards with flat inside faces, made by True Ames in solid fiberglass with Futures-compatible trailers and FCS-compatible leaders. The template was drawn for the FM's box placement, more than two inches off the rail on mid-lengths and close to parallel, with the canards seated forward and outboard of the twins.
