Put the KC on your everyday thruster shortboard when you want smooth, drivey, powerful turns rather than nervous, twitchy ones — it carves long and pushes through the back end of a turn instead of pivoting and stalling. It's a set for power surfers, and a friendly landing spot if you're coming off a single fin or midlength; if you want sharper release off the lip, step over to the TA Tri instead.

The template features built-in tip flex, and its foil sits in the middle of True Ames' thruster lineup in terms of size and stiffness.
