La quilla
La DELTA-V es la twin fin de Manny Caro para Mandala: un outline lleno con rake moderado, dibujada para encajar en una gama amplia de tablas de twin fin.
Un par de twins en fibra de vidrio maciza, compatible con FCS, en transparente o smoke. 5.31" de alto sobre una base de 5.20" con 20.35 pulgadas cuadradas por lado: una plantilla llena y no vertical, con rake moderado llevado hasta la punta. Caro la dibujó como la adaptable —curvas equilibradas más que nada forzado a un extremo— y por eso acaba en tantas tablas distintas y funciona en una variedad de condiciones. La fibra de vidrio maciza la hace rígida.
Cómo se traduce eso
Base llena con rake moderado es una combinación que agarra. La tabla mantiene su línea desde el bottom turn en vez de irse bajo el pie trasero, y el giro viene como un solo arco largo en lugar de pivotar. El flex rígido significa que lo que le metes a la quilla vuelve a salir directamente como drive —desde el bottom turn y en el labio— sin que se absorba nada. Nada en el outline es exagerado, y esa es justo la idea.
A quién le va
A tablas de twin fin en general: fishes, twins modernas, mid-lengths con dos cajetines. Un juego sensato si quieres estabilidad de una twin sin renunciar al giro trazado, y una buena primera twin si vienes de un thruster y no quieres notar la cola suelta debajo.

A full template with moderate rake, sized to sit between a loose upright twin and a drivey keel — the stiff fiberglass flex holds its shape under load so the board projects off the bottom and stays committed through a hard rail turn.
Our take
This is the twin to buy when one set has to handle everything from waist-high to overhead on an egg or hybrid twin: smooth, powerful turns with more stability than a small upright twin while staying looser than a wide keel. If you want keel glide and long fast lines instead, go Lovelace Piggyback Keel or Mackie Sidecut Fish Keel.
