Criado y afincado en Orange County, Troy es un shaper emergente increíble —especializado en logs, entre otros diseños retro— que surfea a un nivel al que pocos llegan. Aunque en esta Pivot suya todo gira en torno a la estabilidad, tiene algo menos de área que una quilla tradicional de estilo Pivot. Junto con el rake suficiente y su foil, la Troy Elmore Pivot permite giros amplios y cutbacks secos cuando te vas a la cola.
