La quilla
Fabricada en colaboración con Tyler Warren, esta quilla se diseñó con dos intenciones principales: agarrar en la pared en situaciones críticas y generar una buena dosis de drive. Natural del sur de California y surfista, artista y shaper de talento, Tyler tiene muy buen ojo para dibujar líneas, dentro y fuera del agua. Con influencias muy diversas, se esfuerza por shapear, surfear y hacer evolucionar una gran variedad de diseños de tabla y de quilla. Esta quilla es el acompañamiento perfecto para todo tipo de longboards. Lleva un foil completo por delante - que se va afinando, una cantidad de rake extendida y una punta estrecha y sensible; todo eso trabaja junto para dar estabilidad, potencia y fluidez en los giros. Prueba la versatilidad de la Tyler Warren Flux mientras hace lo suyo en olas que van desde pequeñas hasta cabeza y poco más. ¡Móntala y disfruta de giros suaves y de líneas clásicas y largas! Las dos tallas tienen plantillas ligeramente distintas. La de 10” tiene más rake, una punta más extendida y algo más de ancho de base. Esta plantilla consigue lo mismo que la de 9.25”, pero para una tabla más grande. Monta la de 10" en tus gliders, logs pintail, logs de cola cuadrada o mid-lengths de cola ancha. Run the 10 inch on a glider, pintail or square-tail log, or wide-tail mid-length, and the 9.25 on a smaller longboard or egg — it draws long, classic lines and projects through carves in waves up to about head-high. This is a turning-and-trimming single, not a planted noseride anchor; if you want maximum nose hold, the Velzy Noserider is the move.

The Tyler Warren Flux is a longboard single fin made by True Ames in solid fiberglass, available in 9.25" and 10.0" sizes that are not scaled copies of each other: the 10" carries more rake, more tip extension, and slightly more base for gliders, pintail and square-tail logs, and wide-tail mid-lengths, while the 9.25" suits smaller longboards and eggy craft. The template uses a full forward-tapering foil, an extended amount of rake, and a narrow tip, and works in waves from small up to about head-high.
