Eine moderne Lesart des traditionellen aufrechten Twins: 5.62" tief auf einer 5.13"-Base, 22.07 sq in Fläche, mit vollem Körper, voller Spitze und flachem Foil. Malcolm Campbell hat ihn entworfen und verfeinert; Jacob Campbell hat ihn getestet.
Was das bedeutet
Tiefe ist das, was das Tail in einer steilen Wellenwand hält, und mit 5.62" ist das ein hoher Twin. Weil die Fläche bis in die Spitze reicht, wirkt dieser Halt auch oben im Turn und nicht nur unten: Die Finne treibt hart aus dem Bottom Turn und rutscht nicht weg, wenn die Welle sich aufstellt. Der aufrechte Umriss hält sie schnell – Wechsel von Rail zu Rail bleiben kurz, auch mit so viel Finne im Wasser.
Für wen sie passen
Performance-Twin-Fin-Boards in soliden Bedingungen, gefahren von jemandem, der sich auf eine Rail-Linie festlegen will, statt herumzuskaten. In schwachem Surf ist es mehr Finne, als die Welle belasten wird.

The Alpha Omega Twin is an upright twin-fin template designed by Malcolm Campbell with testing by Jacob Campbell, made by True Ames in Futures-compatible solid fiberglass. The design draws on the fast, flowing twins of the 1970s with a refined balance of base, depth, rake, and foil, carrying a full body and tip. It runs as a standalone twin set on twin-fin boards and performance twin hulls, not as part of a Bonzer cluster.
