Die CI Spicy ist eine aufrechte Singlefinne, entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit den feinen Leuten von Channel Islands. Wir haben den schlanken Umriss und das zurückhaltende Rake-Profil genommen, das an die klassischen Singlefins der 60er und 70er erinnert, und es mit aktualisiertem Foil und Flex-Profil für heutige Performance optimal abgestimmt. Sie ist das Ergebnis gemeinsamer Arbeit mit Devon Howard und Britt Merrick und wurde mit CIs Mid-Length Tri Plane Hull im Kopf entworfen – einem Board, das einen von Greenough inspirierten Planing Hull mit Al Merricks Egg-Umriss und CIs modernen Rail- und Rocker-Profilen verbindet. Die Finne ist aber keineswegs auf dieses eine Boarddesign beschränkt; sie funktioniert hervorragend an vielen Boards im mittleren Größenbereich. Steck dir eine CI Spicy ins Board und du fließt die Linie entlang und pivotierst in der Pocket an deinem Hausbreak. Wenn du deinem Singlefin-Quiver etwas Würze geben willst, erledigt dieses Fiberglass-Wunder den Job. Das aufrechte Profil erlaubt schnelle Wendigkeit. Das schlanke Design gibt Fluss, besonders beim Surfen an Points, die die Linie entlanglaufen. Passt gut zu Boards im mittleren Größenbereich. Konstruktion aus Solid Fiberglass, Raw-Finish.

Loose and pivotal, with a springy feeling due to the flex in the tip.
Buy this for hull-influenced mid-lengths, modern eggs, and anything in the 7'0"–8'6" range that wants to flow. It was built for the CI Tri-Plane Hull and that's still the best pairing — purpose-built for a specific board type, versatile enough to work on others, but most honest when the board underneath it is doing what the Tri-Plane Hull does.

An upright, slender-outlined single fin in the 8"–9" range, developed by Britt Merrick and Devon Howard of Channel Islands for the CI Tri-Plane Hull mid-length and built by True Ames at their Goleta shop. The template combines a trimmed base and conservative rake with flex concentrated in the tip; a volan construction is also offered, which shifts flex from the tip into the body. It fits single-fin mid-lengths, eggs, and other boards in the 7'0"–8'6" range with planing bottoms and moderate rocker.
