Die Heritage ist eine Verbeugung vor dem ursprünglichen Surfstil und klassischem Finnendesign. Inspiriert von traditionellen Pivot-Templates ist diese Finne ein hauseigenes True-Ames-Design für alle, die den Longboard-Stil vergangener Zeiten am Leben halten wollen. Denk an weit zurückgelehntes Fahren, Drehen über das Tail, den perfekten Trim finden und vorn auf der Nose einrasten. Diese Finne ist auf klassischen Longboards zu Hause, die etwas Gewicht mitbringen und breite Squaretails haben. Die Heritage surft besonders gut an Point-Longboardwellen und Beachbreaks, wenn die Wellen knie- bis brusthoch sind. Weit zurücktreten, Drop-Knee-Turn, Cross-Step, Noseride, von vorn … Unsere Version einer klassischen Pivot-Finne: viel Fläche, minimaler Rake. Für Noserider gebaut – diese Finne gibt Stabilität und ermöglicht maximale Zeit auf der Spitze. Konstruktion aus Solid Fiberglass, mattes Finish.

The combination is deliberate: the wide base holds the tail down so the nose lifts, and the drawn-out rake keeps sweeping turns clean rather than skittish. It is built to do one job extremely well rather than to cover every board you own.
Put it on a heavy classic log when nose time is the whole point and you want the tail planted under you. If you would rather surf rail to rail and turn off the tail, the Greenough Stage III or the more versatile Hobie Classic are better fits; the Heritage is single-minded by design.

The Heritage is True Ames' in-house single fin based on traditional pivot templates, combining a wide base with drawn-out rake. It is built in fiberglass and comes in three sizes, 9.75 inch, 10.0 inch, and 10.5 inch, in a wide range of colors. It is intended for heavy classic longboards with wide square tails in knee-to-chest-high surf.
