Während viele der klassischen Designmerkmale der beliebten „Farb Flex“ erhalten blieben, wurde nachjustiert, um Noseriden und Wendigkeit zugleich zu verbessern. Josh vergrößerte zunächst Basisbreite und Rake, für mehr Drive aus dem Bottom Turn und mehr Stabilität auf der Nose. Zusätzlicher Flex kam durch ein dünneres Foil in der Spitze und die Kombination mit unserem Volan-Fiberglass dazu, für optimalen Flex und mehr Projektion. Das Faberow Flex Volan Pro Model ist eine ausgewogene Finne, die an ganz unterschiedlichen Longboards funktioniert und dabei die Performance anhebt. Unsere Volan-Finnen sind mit präzisen Foils und passendem Flex feinabgestimmt. Mit viel Hingabe gefertigt, durchlaufen sie die strengste Qualitätskontrolle. Unsere Volan-Lagen werden sorgfältig von Hand gelegt und templatiert, für optimale Faserausrichtung und hohe Festigkeit – wobei der Flex eher aus dem Körper kommt als nur aus der Spitze. Das erhöht Speed und Projektion aus dem Bottom Turn und durch die Turns.

The template keeps the beloved Farb Flex character but adds base width and rake for more drive off the bottom and more stability on the nose, with the flex coming through the body so it projects you out of turns rather than just wobbling at the tip.
A do-it-all longboard fin with Volan spring: on a performance or all-around log it noserides and genuinely turns. If your only goal is maximum dead-planted tip time, the Heritage is steadier, and the Hobie Log Flex is the more traditional Volan log fin with less turning emphasis.

The Josh Farberow Pro Model is a Volan-glass longboard single fin made by True Ames, developed from the Farberow Flex template with added base width and rake and a thinned tip foil. The Volan layup is built so flex comes through the body of the fin. It comes in three sizes — 9.0", 9.5", and 10.0" — and is intended for performance and all-around longboards.
