Das Lovelace FM Twinzer-Set wurde eigens für Ryans Boardmodell FM entworfen. Die vorderen Nubs haben ein einseitiges Foil mit flacher Innenseite, das hintere Twin-Design ein doppeltes 50/50-Foil. Dieses besondere Set liefert viel Speed, Drive und die Fähigkeit zu kräftigen Rail-Carves und fließend gezogenen Turns, wenn du es am passenden Board fährst. Hier noch ein paar Design-Notizen von Ryan: „Diese Finnen wurden speziell für die ziemlich eigenwillige Positionierung meines FM-Designs entworfen – über 2" von der Rail entfernt bei Mid-Lengths und nahezu parallel; mit oder ohne führende Finne, je nachdem, was der Fahrer bevorzugt. Das Template insgesamt und die doppelte Foilung richten sie recht eindeutig auf Mid-Length-Twins aus, die verbundene, gezogene Carves fahren. Dieses Template hat deutlich mehr Fläche als die meisten üblichen Twins. Wenn du sie also in einem anderen Board als dem FM fährst, für das sie entwickelt wurden, würde ich sie an Mid-Length-Twins empfehlen, für schwerere Surfer an Twins um die 6' oder für alle, die gern die Rail belasten und Drive aufbauen. Alternativ ist der Piggyback Keel ein sehr ähnliches Template und in kleinerer Größe besser für ‚normal‘ große Twins geeignet.“

It holds through carves like a quad but keeps the freedom and squirt of a twin -- somewhere between the two, with more bite than a plain twin and less track than a locked-in quad.
This is the matched set for an FM or a similar off-the-rail, near-parallel mid-length twin, where it draws long, connected, arcing carves with real hold. It pays back juicier waves more than small mush, and if your boxes are in a conventional twin position, a standard twin set will sit better.

The Lovelace FM Twinzer is a four-fin set Ryan Lovelace designed for his FM mid-length: a pair of double-foiled rear twins plus a pair of small single-foiled front canards with flat inside faces, made by True Ames in solid fiberglass with Futures-compatible trailers and FCS-compatible leaders. The template was drawn for the FM's box placement, more than two inches off the rail on mid-lengths and close to parallel, with the canards seated forward and outboard of the twins.
