Die Norm Flex ist eines unserer zeitlosen Templates: schmale Basis, kombiniert mit einer Spitze, die weit nach hinten schwingt. Die Norm hat ordentlich Flex, was lang projizierenden Turns entgegenkommt. Sie hat sich eine kleine Kultgemeinde erarbeitet – Flex-Finnen-Liebhaber, die entdeckt haben, wie viel Drive der eigenwillige Rake dieser Finne freisetzen kann. Geschmeidige, gezogene Turns, Kraft aus dem Bottom Turn holen und insgesamt fließendes Surfen sind hier das Programm. Der dramatische Rake zieht die Turns lang und gibt zusätzlichen Drive. Passt gut zu Boards im mittleren Größenbereich und besonders zu 2+1-Longboards. Konstruktion aus Solid Fiberglass, Raw-Finish.

The narrow base and big sweep draw turns out long and feed drive off the bottom turn, while the flex loads and springs through the arc. It was conceived as an outlier and has held a cult following among flex-fin riders ever since.
Put it on a retro single fin or 2+1 longboard when you want flow, rake, and spring through long, projecting turns; it is strongest on open faces and points with room to let a turn run. If you want a planted, predictable single instead, the Pinder Single is the safer call.

The Norm Flex is a heavily raked flex single fin with a narrow base and a swept-back tip, made by True Ames. It comes in three sizes, 7 inch, 8 inch, and 9 inch; the 9 inch is the most common longboard choice, with the 7 and 8 inch suited to mid-lengths and 2+1 center boxes. It is intended for retro single fins and 2+1 longboards.
