Die Designidee des Thrusters und seine Kernelemente bestehen darin … alles zu nehmen, was in über 40 Jahren über den Bau anlaminierter Tri-Finnen gelernt wurde, und das alles in dieses Design einfließen zu lassen. Die TA Tri ist ein weiteres Template aus der hauseigenen Kollektion und die Version jenes bewährten Thruster-Designs, das Anfang der 80er populär wurde und sich seither ständig weiterentwickelt hat.
Diese 3 Finnen sind alle gleich groß und haben ein solides Allround-Profil für Performance-Surfen aller Art. Gebaut für Speed, mehr Drive, fließende Turns und dafür, die Welle mit Kontrolle anzugehen.

Run this set on a shortboard or hybrid when you want drive off the bottom and a release off the top that lets go in a measured way rather than all at once. If you want a smoother, trim-and-glide thruster feel, go with the Skip Frye Tri; for more hold and bite in steep, powerful surf, look at a Timmy Patterson thruster.

The True Ames Thruster is a three-fin set made in solid fiberglass with Futures bases, sold as a set in Small, Medium, and Large sizes chosen by rider weight. The template uses flat inside foils and medium rake. It is intended for shortboards and performance hybrids.
