Troy ist ein ausgesprochen talentierter Shaper und Surfer und eine prägende Figur in der heutigen Nische der Retro-Designs. Wie viele seiner Boarddesigns ist auch diese Finne eine Verbeugung vor klassischen Finnen für Mid-Lengths und Egg-Shapes. Ihr aufrechtes Profil ermöglicht einen engen Drehradius und rückmeldungsfreudiges Surfen in der Pocket. Ihre mittlere Basis läuft nahtlos zu einer schmalen Spitze aus, für viel Drive die Linie entlang – und bleibt dabei lose und empfänglich für das, was du vorgibst. Aufrechtes Profil und schmale Spitze erzeugen Rückmeldung und Losheit. Allround-Finne, am besten für Mid-Lengths im Bereich 6'2" bis 8". Konstruktion aus Solid Fiberglass, Raw-Finish.

For trim and glide go Skip Frye, for more hold through the turn the Tappy MOD, and for base-driven drive in weak surf the Greenough 4A.
The Troy Elmore Egg is a single fin designed by shaper Troy Elmore and made by True Ames in solid fiberglass, in one size, 8.0 inch. The template is upright with a moderate base tapering to a narrow tip. It is intended for eggs and mid-lengths roughly in the 6'2" to 8'0" range.
