A generous base and large amount of area great for harnessing power, while the more slender tip will still allow for release and maneuverability. These love to drive hard off the bottom and can handle some good size surf.
Put it on a fish or twin-box board you want to surf with drive and hold through big carves, especially in punchier or bigger surf where a looser twin lets go. If you want a livelier, more playful twin instead, the Tappy Twin is the move; if you want a true hatchet-keel feel, the Nightmare Keels are the next step.
