Ein Keel ist eine Twinfinne mit langer Basis und geringer Tiefe. Die lange Basis ist die Quelle des Drives – ein Keel hält die Linie und baut in der Wellenwand besser Speed auf als ein höherer, schmalerer Twin. Die geringe Tiefe ist der Grund, warum er nicht pivotiert: Ein Keel will in langen Bögen gesurft werden.
Dieses Template
Richs Nightmare ist ein gerakter und kein aufrechter Keel, tauscht also etwas von der klassischen Keel-Steifheit gegen einen Turn ein, den du auch wirklich zu Ende fahren kannst. Passt zu einem Fish, der über den hinteren Fuß gesurft wird.

Put them on a fish or performance hybrid with a wider, bite-y tail that you want to drive hard and fast down open faces -- keel-level push that still releases and turns. Riders chasing an upright lock-in on any tail, or a loose and playful pocket feel, should look at other twins.
