If you're on a swallowtail mid-length in the 7'0"โ7'6" range โ Miller's own Swallow shape or anything in that family โ this fin was drawn for exactly that. It's carving-forward: keep it in eggy single-fin territory and it performs exactly as described, but it wasn't designed for hanging toes.
The Swallow is a single fin designed by Barrett Miller for his swallowtail single-fin mid-length, a board built in sizes from 6'6" to 7'6", and is manufactured by True Ames. It comes in 7.75" and 8.25" sizes; the 8.25" measures 8.25 inches tall with a 5.97-inch base. The template combines a wide base with a hard taper to a slender, flexible upper third and a 50/50 foil, and True Ames specifies it for mid-length eggy boards.
