Come si sente
La base è drive e tenuta; l'altezza è ciò che permette a una pinna di girare. Questa è caricata verso la base, così la tavola fa presa dentro un bottom turn in onde con vera spinta e continua a spingere invece di perdere la coda. Il profilo moderato e il rake dolce lasciano abbastanza risposta per transizioni rapide dal bottom al lip, che è esattamente quello a cui rinuncia una keel piena. A chi è adatta
A fish dal tail largo, fish retrò e a qualsiasi twin che diventi troppo sciolta quando il mare supera l'altezza del petto — point break e pareti pulite con potenza dietro. A surfisti più pesanti e a chi arriva dal thruster, spinge forte dentro la curva e vuole che la pinna resti al suo posto mentre lo fa.

Keep enough of the drive and hold of the keel while introducing the release and looseness of the upright twin.
Way more single fin than Thruster, but still with the ability to jam it in the hook of the wave.
Our take
A hybrid fin that refuses to apologize for leaning keel. Bottom turns go long and committed — the wide base delivers keel-level drive and projection while the moderate rake and height let you actually pivot out of the turn. Riders looking for snappy skate-release exits will find it claustrophobic; everyone else gets the drive without the lock-in.

The Beamish Twin was designed by Carpinteria shaper Christian Beamish of Surfboards California and is produced by True Ames in solid fiberglass with a raw sanded finish. It comes in one size with a Futures-compatible base, measuring 5.21 inches tall with a 6.27-inch base, and carries 80/20 foils and 5.5 degrees of cant. It was built for Beamish's twin fin boards — round-pin channel bottoms and double-wing swallows — which cluster in the 5'7"–6'2" range.
