Come si sente
Il rake porta la superficie della pinna indietro rispetto al box, così una curva si allunga e la tavola ci mantiene dentro la sua velocità invece di perniare e perderla. Togliere superficie allo stesso tempo lascia meno da trascinare nell'acqua: la velocità in scorrevolezza sale e la tavola continua a glidare dove un set più pieno la impanterebbe. Quello che questo outline non fa è tenere duro nel pocket o chiudere di scatto in alto. Vuole essere surfato su linee lunghe.
A chi è adatto
Glider, mid-length e tavole più lunghe con tre box, in onde su cui vale la pena scorrere. Chi cerca velocità e flow lungo l'onda più che un surf verticale e stretto — e chiunque abbia scoperto che un set thruster standard fa sentire una tavola grande incollata all'acqua. Our take
Run it on a glider or mid-length with FCS boxes when you want trim speed and flowing, drawn-out lines from a thruster set. If you want tight, snappy, release-forward surfing, the Channel Islands Tri is the better fit; this set is for running the wave, not gouging it.
