Il design di questa pinna affonda le radici nel longboard ad alte prestazioni. Abbina la Cutaway a un paio di side bite e tirerai curve secche e cutback rapidi quando ti va. Built to be the center fin of a 2+1, where it turns snappy and lively while the side bites supply rail hold. Smaller sizes free it up even further for radical experimentation.
Our take
Put it in the center box of a performance longboard with 3.7-inch or smaller side bites when you want to turn the board hard instead of just trim and noseride. If you want a drivier, more drawn-out mid-length center the CI Mid is the better pick, and a true noserider calls for the Dewey Weber Hatchet instead.

The Cutaway is a True Ames longboard center-fin template with a notch cut from its trailing edge that removes area off the back and shortens the effective base. It is offered in sizes from 5 inches through 9.5 inches, with 7 inch, 7.5 inch and 8 inch the common sizes for 2+1 setups. It is designed to run as the center fin of a 2+1 on a performance longboard, paired with side bites.
