La RDM Twinzer di Derrick Disney — un set da quattro pinne, due posteriori con rake e una piccola canard davanti a ciascuna, disegnato come il suo assetto principale per i modelli Midzr, Roe ed Egg.
Venduta come set da quattro in fibra di vetro piena, in avorio, su basi che accettano FCS o Futures. Le posteriori sono tozze: una base larga che passa in una punta più piena e cadente, con foil 70/30. Davanti a ciascuna c'è una canard a basso profilo con doppio foil, base larga e curve prese in prestito da una keel Gephart 2. Le canard sono disponibili in diversi angoli, così la coppia può essere impostata sui circa 13° di cant su cui è costruita la formula RDM.
Come si sente
Un twinzer convoglia il flusso della piccola pinna anteriore sulla pinna più grande dietro, il che permette alla posteriore di avere più rake di quanto potrebbe altrimenti senza pagarlo in resistenza. Così la posteriore fa il drive mentre la canard la tiene alimentata e stabile, e la tavola gira in modo fluido invece di perniare di scatto.
