Come si sente
Un foil 50/50 è simmetrico — la stessa curva su entrambe le facce — quindi la pinna non genera portanza verso un lato come fa un foil interno piatto. Quello che si ottiene è invece scorrevolezza: la coppia tiene una linea senza tirare via la tavola da quella linea, che è esattamente ciò per cui si vogliono le keel su una fish. Il cant le inclina verso l'esterno, così quando la tavola va sul rail le pinne iniziano a dare portanza invece di limitarsi a tenere.
A chi è adatta
A fish e twin adatte alle keel con box Futures, surfate per la velocità e per curve lunghe e disegnate più che strette. A chi conosce la #2 in compensato e vuole quell'outline in vetroresina per una tavola Futures. Surf di linea, in onde con una parete da percorrere.

Our take
Run the Gephart #2 Keels on a Lis-style fish or wide-tailed keel twin when you want traditional down-the-line speed and glide with a slightly looser tail than a straight-backed keel. If you want the most-classic straight-backed feel, the original Gephart template is the one — this set prizes glide over snap, not performance pivot.
