La Mini Trailer è la pinna centrale più piccola che True Ames produca — una quinta pinna per un quad, oppure una centrale molto piccola in un thruster.
Fibra di vetro piena, in smoke o trasparente. È un trailer pensato per essere appena percepibile: un foil ultra sottile che tiene la resistenza al minimo dando comunque al retro della tavola un po' di stabilità e controllo dietro twin, quad o un cluster thruster da performance. Usata come piccola centrale in un setup tri-fin cambia la sensazione della tavola in modo sproporzionato rispetto alla sua dimensione.
Come si sente
Una pinna centrale in fondo alla tavola tiene la coda in linea, e quanto tiene dipende dalla superficie. Togline quasi tutta, come fa questa, e ottieni quasi tutto il rilascio del surfare senza pinna centrale, ma senza la sensazione vaga e scivolosa che ne consegue. In una tavola a cinque box è la regolazione tra quad e five-fin; nel box posteriore di un thruster toglie l'ancora dalla coda. Sta nel box posteriore come qualsiasi altro trailer, quindi la puoi scambiare con una di misura piena senza toccare il resto del set.
A chi è adatta
Quad con un quinto box, twin con box centrale, e thruster che vuoi sbloccare di coda. Se vuoi che il trailer si faccia sentire come tenuta invece che come rilascio, i trailer da 2.5" e 3.3" sono i due gradini sopra.

Reach for this when a twin or quad feels loose and skatey in steeper waves and you want to calm the tail without turning the board into a thruster — it's fine-tuning, a dial rather than a switch. If you want a more pronounced hit of center-fin hold and drive, the taller Stussy Hitch Hiker trailer is the move.
ALTRO SU QUESTA PINNA
The True Ames Mini Trailer is a small center fin built to sit behind a quad as a fifth fin or in the center box of a twin as a stabilizer. The foil section is ultra-thin to keep drag low and the area is deliberately small. This is the Futures version in solid E-glass, and its single-tab mount allows the fin to be slid forward for a freer feel or back for slightly more drive.
