Les nouvelles side bites de Ryan ont été conçues pour vraiment briller dans un rôle d'accompagnement, sur les 2+1 qu'il affectionne — en général un montage 2+1 un peu plus parallèle, ou un 2+1 plutôt sous-dérivé. Ce jeu est un peu plus orienté down the line et pensé pour être plus resserré qu'un montage 2+1 performance « classique » plus étalé ; ces latérales iront très bien sur les planches plus longues, les minigliders, et comme option de side bite performance un peu plus petite. Ce template consiste vraiment à laisser le gros du travail et la sensation générale du montage à la dérive centrale, tout en servant de bon renfort et d'un petit supplément de mordant.

The template is down-the-line driven and meant to cluster closer to the center fin than a spread-out classic performance 2+1 arrangement. They are intended to run alongside a mid-length or longboard center fin in slightly more parallel or under-finned 2+1 setups.
