Personne n'a autant bricolé, testé et affiné le concept asym que Ryan Burch. La dérive côté orteils vient du Burch Twin. Les dérives côté talons relèvent du concept paddle propre à Ryan — inspiré des paddle fins de George Greenough et nourri par les expérimentations de Daniel « Tomo » Thompson sur les dérives. Les dérives côté talons ont un outline trapu, mais le bord arrière en cutaway ouvre la dérive dans les transitions et sur le rail. La compatibilité de ces trois dérives est inégalée. Un bottom turn en frontside donnera une sensation de relance, de vivacité et de puissance — et le côté talons sera réactif, velouté, doux et libre. The frontside will feel drivey, quick, and full of power, while the heel side will feel responsive, buttery, smooth, and loose.
This is the set for a regular-footer on a dedicated asymmetrical board who wants the frontside powerful and the backside free — it shines on punchy beachbreak and steeper walls where forehand and backhand demand different things. Goofy-footers need the Goofy version, and on a standard symmetrical twin or fish you should run the Burch Twin instead.

The Ryan Burch Asymmetrical Regular is a 1+2 asymmetrical fin set for regular-foot asymmetrical boards, made by True Ames in solid fiberglass with Futures-compatible bases. The toe-side fin is taken from the Burch Twin template, while the heel-side fins use Burch's paddle concept, inspired by Greenough's paddle fins and Tomo's fin experimentation, with a stubby outline and cutaway trailing edge. A mirrored Goofy version exists for goofy-foot riders.
