La dérive
Les canards Valaric de Jordan Brazie, en fibre de verre pleine compatible FCS, coloris noir — les dérives de tête du twinzer Valaric, vendues par paire.
Un twinzer fonctionne avec quatre dérives, mais pas comme un quad : chaque dérive principale reçoit un petit canard placé juste devant et à l'extérieur d'elle. Le canard envoie un vortex sur la dérive principale, ce qui lui permet de tenir à un angle plus prononcé qu'elle ne le ferait autrement. Les canards sont vendus par paire ; les dérives arrière s'achètent séparément ou dans les sets twinzer.

Brazie les dessine petits et rapprochés, de sorte qu'un set se comporte comme un twin la plupart du temps et ne révèle l'accroche des canards que lorsque la face se creuse. Trois angles de cant : 0° pour le moins d'influence, 4° comme choix habituel, 9° quand vous voulez que le canard travaille au maximum.

The flat inside foil and small area add control and lift without dragging like a full side bite -- the looseness and feel of a two-fin setup with the maneuverability a plain twin can lack.
Our take
Buy these only for a Twinzer board, ideally paired with the Libra Twin they were designed around, and start at the middle angle setting before tuning. If you don't have canard boxes, or you want a complete matched four-fin set out of the box, these are the wrong purchase.
EN SAVOIR PLUS SUR CETTE DÉRIVE
The Valaric Canards are the small front fins from Jordan Brazie's Valaric Twinzer system, foiled by True Ames in FCS-compatible, single-tab solid fiberglass. They run a flat inside foil with selectable 0, 4, and 9 degree angle options and mount forward of and outside a rear twin. Brazie designed them to expand on the Libra Twin, the rear hybrid twin from the same collection; they are not standalone fins.
