Run these on a glider, egg, or single-fin longboard when you want a touch more grip and projection in steeper moments without losing the single-fin feel; they are a safety net, not a setup change. If you want serious hold and a performance 2+1, step up to the Side Bite 4.0 instead.

A pair of 3.0 inch side bite fins based on Skip Frye's classic single-fin template, made by True Ames in solid fiberglass with FCS compatibility and sold as a pair. The template is stubby and small with minimal rake and a relatively wide base for its size.
