The newest go-to recommendation for many 2+1 setups: a nice balance of base width for stability, a slightly upright mid-section for control, and a moderate amount of rake through the tip which helps harness power through turns, with the smaller and medium sizes favorites for 2+1s in solid surf.
This is the dependable anchor for a 2+1 high-performance longboard or mid-length when the waves get serious — paired with side bites it holds the rail on late drops and steep sections while the moderate tip rake still lets you drive through the turn. The Power Tilt is a 2+1 center fin designed by Wayne Rich and made by True Ames in solid fiberglass with a full foil and minimal flex. The template combines a workable base width, a slightly upright mid-section, and a moderate amount of tip rake. It is stocked in center-fin sizes of 6", 6.5", 7", and 7.5" for the center boxes of high-performance longboards, mid-lengths, and alternative shorter boards.
