Al Merrick のショートボードに合わせ、Channel Islands のチームとともに描かれた三本セットで、True Ames のラインナップの中でも長く続いてきたテンプレートの一つです。フラットフォイル、バランスの取れたフレックス、そしてスモール・ミディアム・ラージのサイズ展開。ひとつのサイズで済ませるのではなく、ライダーに合わせて選べます。
乗り味について
素直なフラットフォイルと中庸なフレックスは、一度に押し寄せるのではなくなめらかに立ち上がるドライブを生み、ターンの終わりでは狙った先まで粘り続けずにテールをリリースさせます。ここで決めるべきはサイズです。フィンが大きいほど、ボトムターンでテールを押さえる面積が増え、解放するのに力が要ります。小さいほどルースになり、掘れたフェイスでの引っかかりは弱くなります。
