A collaborative displacement-hull fin from Kirk Putnam and Brian Hilbers, designed for hulls, mid-lengths, and larger boards that thrive on continuous rail engagement. A fuller, thicker leading edge and solid base feed into a narrower, more flexible tip, generating powerful yet incredibly smooth rail turns with plenty of projection. The Volan layup's dense weave and hand-built 44-layer panels deliver the stiffness-through-the-body and flex "memory" needed for this specialized foil to come alive in proper hull waves.
