The Golden Era of MX
Between the late 1970s and early 2000s, American motocross produced some of the loudest, most reckless gear design in the history of sport. Fox Racing, AXO, and Answer weren't making "athleisure." They were making armor for teenagers who rode dirt bikes too fast.
The jerseys ran oversized, sublimated in neon and splatter patterns. The pants were built to slide across hardpack. The graphics looked like they were designed by someone who had just discovered both Photoshop and amphetamines. That was the point.
