The Bags

The Discover Pack is the everyday backpack — lightweight, water-resistant sailcloth with enough room for a wetsuit and essentials. The Mini Discover scales it down for around-town use. Tubo Duffle is a barrel-style travel bag. All In is the oversized option for surf trips. C Pack, W Pack, and ELI cover different carry styles. The Sunny Pocket is a small crossbody — we carry the standard version and a Mafia x Pemulis exclusive colorway. Mini MAFIA and Corse Tote round out the collection.

Materials & Process

MAFIA was founded in 2012 by Marcos and Paz Mafia. They started in Buenos Aires and moved to San Francisco, where every bag is now cut and sewn locally. Repurposed sails make up 80% of raw materials — windsurfing sails, kitesurfing kites, and boat sails that have reached the end of their water life. No two bags look the same because no two sails are the same. The brand is B Corporation certified and repairs any product, forever.

What are MAFIA bags made from?
