Barrett Miller の Swallow。幅広いベースから上部三分の一で一気に絞られるシングルフィンで、ミッドレングスでのドライブと力強いカービングのための一本です。
標準的なロングボードボックス用に、ソリッドファイバーグラスのシングルフィンとしてお届けします。サイズは 7.75" と 8.25"、カラーはスモークです。ベースは効かせるべきところで幅広く、その上でアウトラインが素早く絞られるため、面積の大半が下部に集まります。フォイルは 50/50、センターボックスの定番の断面です。細い上部三分の一がわずかにしなり、それがこれだけベースのあるフィンをラインに縛りつけずに済ませています。ドライブはたっぷり、それでいてレールからレールへは自由です。
どう感じられるか
低く前寄りの面積はドライブそのもので、後ろ足に体重を預ければボードは滑るのではなく前へ出ます。その上の素早いテーパーがティップから荷重を抜くため、フィンはわずかに撓み、ターンの頂点で最後まで粘るのではなくリリースします。自由さが生まれるのはそこです。感じられるのは、力強くカービングするシングルフィンです。素早く荷重を溜め、素早く離し、抜けた先には確かな伸びがあります。
どんな方に向くか
センターボックスを備え、ある程度意図を持って乗るミッドレングスに。シングルフィンをトリムさせるのではなくカービングさせたい方のためのフィンです。8.25" が標準版で、7.75" は面積を減らしてあり、体重の軽い方や短いボード向け、テールをさらに軽快にします。

Our take
If you're on a swallowtail mid-length in the 7'0"–7'6" range — Miller's own Swallow shape or anything in that family — this fin was drawn for exactly that. It's carving-forward: keep it in eggy single-fin territory and it performs exactly as described, but it wasn't designed for hanging toes.
