どう感じられるか
幅広いベースがテールを押さえ、それがノーズへ立たせ、そこに留まらせます。トラディショナルなピボットフィンは全体に面積を盛ることで同じことをするため、動きが重く感じられます。こちらはティップを細くし、ボードが回ってくるだけのレイクを残しているので、レールからレールへの切り返しは滑らかなまま、ターンは伸びやかに描かれます。トリムで前に立っていても、テールに下がっていても、ボードのどこからでも粘ります。

まずは Channel Islands Noserider に。このフィンがそのボードに合わせて描かれているためです。加えてトラディショナルなノーズライダー全般、ノーズでの時間が主眼でありながらターンも求められるログに向きます。重めや長めのログでより粘らせたい場合は 10.25"、より自由にしたい場合は 9.75" をお選びください。

Anchors the tail for nose hold while removing the heavier log feeling.
Run it on a traditional noserider when you want secure nose hold with a lighter, more sensitive feel than a heavy hatchet pivot — it plants the tail and lifts the nose but disappears underfoot. If you want a steadier, more planted single, look at the California Classic instead; for a turn-happier all-arounder, the Barrett Miller Ace.
The True Ames Channel Islands Noserider is a solid fiberglass single fin refined with Devon Howard, Wayne Rich, Troy Mothershead, and Chuck Ames. The template combines a narrow tip, wide base, and full foil with moderate rake. It comes in 9.75" and 10.25" sizes: the 9.75" suits boards under about 9'5" or lighter riders, the 10.25" longer logs or heavier riders. It was drawn primarily for the CI Noserider longboard shaped by Wayne Rich and works on other traditional noseriders.
