このフィンについて
CI Spicy は、Channel Islands の面々と協働して設計された、立ち気味のシングルフィンです。True Ames は、60年代や70年代のクラシックなシングルフィンを思わせる細身のアウトラインと控えめなレイクのプロファイルを引き継ぎ、今のパフォーマンスに合わせて、フォイルとフレックスのプロファイルを新たに調整しました。
Devon Howard と Britt Merrick を交えた共同作業から生まれたこのフィンは、CI の Tri Plane Hull のミッドレングスを念頭に置いてつくられました。このボードは、Greenough に着想を得たプレーニングハルに、Al Merrick のエッグのアウトラインと、CI の現代的なレールとロッカーのプロファイルを組み合わせたものです。ただしこのフィンは、このボードデザインに限られるものではまったくなく、ミッドサイズのさまざまなボードでよく機能します。
CI Spicy フィンを用意すれば、いつものポイントブレイクでダウン・ザ・ラインを流し、ポケットでピボットするサーフィンが楽しめます。シングルフィンのクイバーに刺激を加える方法をお探しなら、このファイバーグラスの一本がその役目を果たします。

Our take
Buy this for hull-influenced mid-lengths, modern eggs, and anything in the 7'0"–8'6" range that wants to flow. It was built for the CI Tri-Plane Hull and that's still the best pairing — purpose-built for a specific board type, versatile enough to work on others, but most honest when the board underneath it is doing what the Tri-Plane Hull does.
このフィンについて
An upright, slender-outlined single fin in the 8"–9" range, developed by Britt Merrick and Devon Howard of Channel Islands for the CI Tri-Plane Hull mid-length and built by True Ames at their Goleta shop. The template combines a trimmed base and conservative rake with flex concentrated in the tip; a volan construction is also offered, which shifts flex from the tip into the body. It fits single-fin mid-lengths, eggs, and other boards in the 7'0"–8'6" range with planing bottoms and moderate rocker.
