このフィンについて
Derrick Disney の RDM Twinzer は、レイクの効いたリア二本と、その前にそれぞれ小さなカナードを配した四本セットです。Midzr、Roe、Egg のための主軸のセッティングとして描かれました。
ソリッドファイバーグラス製、カラーはアイボリー、FCS または Futures に対応するベースで、四本セットでの販売です。リアはしっかりとした形で、広いベースから厚みのあるドロップティップへとつながり、フォイルは 70/30 です。その前にはそれぞれ、背の低いダブルフォイルのカナードが入ります。ベースは広く、曲線は Gephart 2 のキールから採られています。カナードは角度を選べるようになっていて、RDM の考え方が基準とするおよそ 13° のカントに合わせて組めます。
どう感じられるか
ツインザーは、前の小さなフィンが整えた流れを後ろの大きなフィンに送り込みます。そのおかげでリアは、抵抗という代償を払わずに、本来より大きなレイクを持てます。つまりドライブを担うのはリアで、カナードはそこに水を送り、落ち着かせる役です。板は鋭く支点で回るのではなく、なめらかに回ってきます。ここではカントが実際に効いています。カナードに選んだ角度が、板がレールに乗ったときに二本がどれだけ強く荷重を受けるかを決めます。
どんな方に向くか
ツインザー用にプラグが開けられた板に。まずは Derrick Disney の Midzr、Roe、Egg の各モデル、そして四つのプラグを備えたエッグやミッドレングス全般です。ツインフィンのダウン・ザ・ラインでの走りを気に入りつつ、二本だけでは得られないなめらかさとターン中のドライブを求める方に向きます。

Run the full RDM set on a fuller-outlined twinzer egg or mid-length with matching canard boxes — it drives and holds through turns for surfers drawing lines and leaning into rail rather than flicking the tail. If you want a snappier twinzer for a shorter board, the DST Twinzer is the move, and if you want traditional keel-twin drive without canards, go Gephart 70/30 Keels.
