Quick acceleration, sharp pivot and plenty of release from the upright twin template, with the small trailer adding hold and stability when the wave gets steeper or more powerful.
Run it on a twin-plus-one fish or hybrid: trailer out for loose, skatey small-wave surf, trailer in to plant the tail when it gets steep. If you want drivier, more drawn-out twin lines, the Furrow High Aspect Twin is the call; this set turns from a tighter point and releases fast.

The Dice Twin + Trailer is a three-fin set from French-Australian shaper Tom Morat's Dice label, made by True Ames in Futures-compatible solid fiberglass. It pairs an upright twin template with a smaller trailer fin that can be run or left out depending on conditions. The fins use a flat foil and a fiberglass layup, and the set is intended for twin-plus-one fish and hybrid boards.
