A medium body with rake and fine-tuned flex that gives dependable stability, smooth flowing turns and real spring out of the pocket.
The idea was to keep the proven California Classic shape but foil it thinner so the fin loads and springs under load — developed for his own performance longboarding in right-hand point surf.
This is the fin for a performance log under a surfer who wants to work the whole wave, not just park on the nose — it adds lively flex and projection to the California Classic outline. If you want the same outline stiffer and more predictable, go California Classic; if you want planted nose time instead of spring, go Dewey Weber Hatchet.
