ベースとハイトの比率がバランスの取れたパフォーマンスツインのペアで、インサイドはフラットフォイル。名前はその比率を指しています。キールのような長いベースと浅いデプスではなく、ベースとデプスがほぼ同じということです。
乗り味について
均等なプロポーションは、このフィンをツインの両極の中間に置きます。レール沿いに走らせるだけのベースがあり、フェイスが立ってきたときに保持するだけのデプスもあるので、キールのようにトラックすることも、小さなアップライトツインのように抜けてしまうこともありません。フラットインサイドフォイルは挙動を素直で読みやすく保ちます。揚力は思ったところに出て、レールに乗り込んだときに驚かされることがありません。

The near-equal base and height ratio shortens the long, drawn-out feel of a true keel and puts the drive into a more compact footprint, and the flat inside foil keeps the set fast without making it twitchy.
Our take
Run the 5x5 on a fish or twin you want to surf aggressively, especially shorter swallow-tail shapes where a full keel feels glued down. If your board is a longer, flatter fish and you want classic drawn-out keel trim, the Gephart 70/30 Keels are the better call.
