4-A を 2+1 で。Greenough 4-A のセンターフィンと True Ames のサイドバイト一組を、サイズをご購入手続きの際にお選びいただく組み合わせ済みのセットとしてご用意しています。
ソリッドファイバーグラス製のフィン三本、FCS 対応、カラーはスモークです。センターフィンは 6.5"、7.0"、7.5"、サイドバイトは 3.25" または 3.7" からお選びいただけます。4-A は多くのシングルフィンの板が行き着くテンプレートで、2+1 にしても無理なくそのまま働きます。十分なベースは変わらずボトムからドライブを生み、先細りでしなるティップはトップで変わらずリリースします。サイドバイトは、センターフィンの役割を奪うことなく、レールでのホールドを加えます。
どう感じられるか
2+1 では、舵を取るのはセンターフィンで、ホールドを担うのはサイドバイトです。4-A は十分に素直なので、感じられるのはフィンの主張ではなく板そのものです。ダウン・ザ・ラインで生まれるスピードと、波が求めたときにポケットに留まっていられるだけのグリップがあります。センターのサイズを上げるとホールドが増し、ターンは長くなります。3.7" のサイドバイトはレールで同じ働きをし、3.25" はテールをより自由に残します。
どんな方に向くか

Our take
Buy this when you want a mid-length or log dialed for hold and predictability in punchy surf and would rather not assemble the pieces yourself — it trades a little single-fin flow for rail grip and a wider usable range. If you want pure single-fin flow instead, run the standalone Greenough 4A, and keep the center modest: over-finning the center is the classic 2+1 mistake.

ボランとは?
Volan is a woven fiberglass cloth laid by hand and finished with a resin that cures to a warm amber tint. It flexes differently than solid fiberglass — more spring, more life, more feel through turns. Where solid glass is stiff and direct, volan breathes with the wave.
The hand-laid process means each fin has subtle texture and character. It's heavier, which adds momentum through flat sections. Surfers who ride volan describe it as "warmer" — the fin does more of the work, trimming and holding without demanding constant input.
