Heritage は、初期のサーフスタイルとクラシックなフィンデザインへの敬意を込めた一本です。伝統的なピボット系のテンプレートに着想を得た True Ames の自社デザインで、過ぎた時代のロングボーディングのスタイルを守り続けたい方に向けてつくられました。大きく後ろに体重を預けてテールから回し、理想のトリムを見つけ、ノーズに乗り込む。そんなイメージです。
このフィンは、ある程度重さのあるクラシックスタイルのロングボードや、ワイドなスクエアテールにぴったり収まります。Heritage は、膝から胸くらいのサイズの波が立つポイント系のロングボード向けの波やビーチブレイクで特によく機能します。
大きく後ろに下がって、ドロップニーターン、クロスステップ、ノーズライド、そしてまた繰り返し。

The combination is deliberate: the wide base holds the tail down so the nose lifts, and the drawn-out rake keeps sweeping turns clean rather than skittish. It is built to do one job extremely well rather than to cover every board you own.
Our take
Put it on a heavy classic log when nose time is the whole point and you want the tail planted under you. If you would rather surf rail to rail and turn off the tail, the Greenough Stage III or the more versatile Hobie Classic are better fits; the Heritage is single-minded by design.
このフィンについて
The Heritage is True Ames' in-house single fin based on traditional pivot templates, combining a wide base with drawn-out rake. It is built in fiberglass and comes in three sizes, 9.75 inch, 10.0 inch, and 10.5 inch, in a wide range of colors. It is intended for heavy classic longboards with wide square tails in knee-to-chest-high surf.
