「Heritage」は、原点にあるサーフスタイルと、クラシックなフィンデザインへの敬意を込めた一本です。伝統的なピボットテンプレートから着想を得た True Ames の自社デザインで、かつての時代のロングボーディングのスタイルを受け継ぎたい方に向けて作られています。大きく後ろに体重をかけてテールから回し、理想のトリムを見つけ、ノーズで決める。そんな乗り方です。
ある程度の重量とワイドなスクエアテールを備えた、クラシックスタイルのロングボードにしっくりと馴染みます。「Heritage」は、膝から胸くらいのサイズの波で、ポイント系のロングボード向けの波やビーチブレイクでとりわけよく走ります。大きく後ろへ下がり、ドロップニーターン、クロスステップ、ノーズライド、そしてまた繰り返す。

The combination is deliberate: the wide base holds the tail down so the nose lifts, and the drawn-out rake keeps sweeping turns clean rather than skittish. It is built to do one job extremely well rather than to cover every board you own.
Put it on a heavy classic log when nose time is the whole point and you want the tail planted under you. If you would rather surf rail to rail and turn off the tail, the Greenough Stage III or the more versatile Hobie Classic are better fits; the Heritage is single-minded by design.

The Heritage is True Ames' in-house single fin based on traditional pivot templates, combining a wide base with drawn-out rake. It is built in fiberglass and comes in three sizes, 9.75 inch, 10.0 inch, and 10.5 inch, in a wide range of colors. It is intended for heavy classic longboards with wide square tails in knee-to-chest-high surf.
