どう感じられるか
ここまで後方にレイクを取ると、フィンにかかる荷重の位置が後ろ足より後ろに移ります。そのためターンはタイトではなく長く回り、その間もボードはスピードを保ちます。繊細に働くのは細いティップで、ねじれてから戻ります。そこがボトムターンから弾き出される感触の源であり、ポケットの中でも反応が保たれる理由です。50/50 のフォイルが、左右どちらのレールでも均等な感触にします。
どんな方に向くか
ピボットよりも流れを求めて乗るロングボードやシングルフィンのボードに。深いカービング、伸びやかなライン、ターンを通して運ぶスピードといった乗り方です。フレックスフィンでありピボットのテンプレートではありませんので、ノーズで過ごす方よりも、テールで過ごす方のほうが持ち味を引き出せます。

An exaggerated amount of rake and a notably narrow, flexible tip — the combination that makes it carve flowy and slingshot out of bottom turns.
Our take
Run it on a log or mid-length when you want flowing, drawn-out carves with springy release off the tail — it rewards a smooth approach and is happiest on a board that already makes its own speed. If you want more straight-line drive and a heavier-footed feel, go to the v.Bowls; for the classic blended Greenough feel, the 4A.
