3.25" のサイドバイト2本セット、hexcore、FCS 対応。シングルフィンのボードを 2+1 にする、小さなアウトサイドフィンです。
サイドバイトはシングルフィンのボードを 2+1 に変えます。舵を取るのはあくまでセンターフィンで、2本の小さなフィンがターン中の粘りと、ボトムからのドライブを加えます。引き換えに、シングルフィン単体が持つルースでピボットの効いた感触は多少失われます。だからこそ、サイズ選びが本当の判断どころになります。
このサイズについて
3.25" は3つのなかで最も控えめなサイズです。ログのルースさをほとんど損なうことなく、噛みつきを加えます。ほんの少しだけ粘りが欲しい、それ以上は要らない、という場合に選ぶサイズです。

Sized to add meaningful hold on rail while leaving the center fin in charge — it grips when the board is on rail and stays out of the way when you are trimming.
Run these on a mid-length 2+1 where you want added hold without killing the single-fin glide, paired with a 6.5" to 7.5" center fin — and remember to drop your center fin size when you add them. If you are setting up a full longboard 2+1 and want more drive, get the Side Bite 3.7 instead.

The True Ames Side Bite 3.25 is a 3.25"-tall side bite pair in lightweight Hexcore construction with FCS-compatible bases. It is intended for 2+1 setups on mid-lengths in the 7'0" to 8'0" range, paired with a 6.5" to 7.5" center fin. The same 3.25 template is also stocked in solid fiberglass and with Futures bases.
