Takuya "Tappy" Yoshikawa は、伝統と現代性を組み合わせ、独自性と品質を備えた製品を生み出す、情熱的で革新的な日本のサーフボードシェイパーです。12歳でサーフィンを始め、17歳で最初のボードをシェイプしました。その過程で美術学校に進み、グラフィックアートを学んでいます。10年の休止期間を経て、30歳でボード作りに戻り、現在も続けています。Tappy Yoshikawa は、サンディエゴのシェイプ界の伝説 Skip Frye から影響を受け、その仕事ぶりを間近で見る機会に恵まれたことが、貴重な経験となりました。

A unique upright fin template that combines a medium base with a fuller tip area, allowing the fin to pivot quickly while providing hold throughout the turn.
Put the MOD on a mid-length or single-fin hybrid when you want quick pivot turns with enough hold and flex to drive through them — a modern, active single-fin feel. If your priority is trim and glide, or planted nose time, this is the wrong tool; it wants to be turned.
