Run the Slick on a noserider or all-around longboard when you want nose time plus the ability to actually turn the board through long, flowing arcs — it noserides like a classic pivot fin but feels less like an anchor. If your only goal is planted nose time, the Smith / Parrish Full Base anchors harder; for a looser, trim-first glide feel, look at the Skip Frye single.

The Slick is a solid fiberglass longboard single fin built by True Ames with longboarder and shaper Chris Schlickenmeyer. The template reworks a classic pivot fin with a narrower base, an extended narrow tip, slightly less overall area, and relatively pronounced rake. It comes in three sizes: 9.0", 9.5", and 10.0".
