「Performer」は、その名の通り、ハイパフォーマンスな 2+1 のロングボードサーフィンで力を発揮するよう設計されています。サンタバーバラを代表する長年のシェイパーのひとり、John Perry が、この逸品の調整に手を貸しました。2+1 のフィンセッティング（当初は「Threedom」と呼ばれていました）を発想し、実際に形にしたのは、John と友人の Dave Lamberston だとされています。これによりロングボードに、さらなるハイパフォーマンスな機能がもたらされました。

Run the Performer as the center of a 2+1 longboard or mid-length when you want powerful, smooth, stable drive — 7.25 inches suits most 7'0" to 8'0" boards, paired with 3.25" or 3.7" side bites. If you want a looser, more classic arcing feel from the center box, the Greenough 4A is the alternative.

The Performer is a 2+1 center fin designed by Santa Barbara shaper John Perry, who with Dave Lamberson is credited with creating the 2+1 configuration, originally called the "Threedom." Made by True Ames in solid fiberglass, it comes in 6.25", 7.25", and 8" sizes and pairs with 3.25" or 3.7" side bites. It goes in the center box of a 2+1 longboard or mid-length rather than standing alone as a single fin.
