このフィンについて
Kevin Connelly の KC Tri。中間の体重帯のサーファーに向けたオールラウンドなスラスターセットで、Futures 互換、ソリッドファイバーグラス製です。
鋭いピボットよりも、なめらかでパワフルなターンを軸に組み立てられた三本セット。アークの終わりでフィンが荷重から解放されるだけのティップのしなりを備えています。こちらはソリッドファイバーグラスのバージョンで、二つの積層のうち重く、手応えのはっきりしたほうです。
乗り味について
硬いスラスターとこのセットを分けているのはティップのしなりです。荷重でティップがわずかにたわみ、ターンから抜けるときに弾き返すので、テンプレートから想像するよりも軽い力でカットバックが返ってきます。ボディは硬いままなので、そのためにドライブやホールドを手放してはいません。

A middleweight all-arounder built around tip flex: the tip loads as you bank into a turn and springs back through the exit, so the drive comes out of the fin rather than purely out of your legs.
Our take
Put the KC on your daily-driver thruster when you want smooth, drivey, powerful turns and spring out of the bottom turn; it suits power surfers and anyone stepping onto a thruster from a single fin or midlength who still wants a board that flows. If you want sharper release off the lip and a snappier feel, the TA Tri is the move instead.

Three-fin thruster set from True Ames in Futures-compatible solid fiberglass, sitting in the middle of the True Ames thruster size range. The foil is designed around tip flex with enough base to grip. The same KC template is also stocked with an FCS base. It is intended for standard thruster shortboards.
