Performer 2+1 Combo は、John Perry の Performer センターフィンと TRUE AMES のサイドバイト 2 本を組み合わせた、FCS 対応のマッチドセットです。
Performer はまさにこの用途のために描かれました。2+1 の構成を考案したのは John Perry と Dave Lamberston とされており（彼らはこれを「Threedom」と呼びました）、Performer はその取り組みから生まれたセンターフィンです。フルなベース、最小限のフレックス、バランスの取れた面積。パワフルでありながら、非常に滑らかな乗り心地のフィンです。
セットで買う理由
センターフィンのサイズはボードに合わせてお選びください。ショートめのボードやミッドレングスには 6.25"、ほとんどのロングボード 2+1 には 7.25"、大きめのボードやより強いホールドが欲しいなら 8" です。サイドバイトはお好みで。3.25" はログの軽快さを損なわずにバイトを加え、3.7" は多くの方が最終的に落ち着くサイズです。各パーツは一緒に働くように描かれているため、サイドがセンターフィンのアークを妨げることなく支えてくれます。

Fine-tuned with input from John Perry into a powerful, full-base fin with an extremely smooth ride — the 2+1 retains the smooth feel of a single fin while the side bites add extra drive and hold.
Buy this when your longboard or mid-length has center and side boxes and you want a matched, balanced 2+1 without guessing at sizing — it rides like a single with more rail hold for steep, bumpy days. If you want pure noseriding flow and clean trim, run a clean single instead and add side bites only if the tail washes out.
The Performer 2+1 Combo is a complete kit from True Ames pairing the Performer center fin with matching TA side bites, sold as a ready-to-go set. The center is a full-base template fine-tuned with input from Santa Barbara shaper John Perry, sized to balance with the side bites. The set is solid fiberglass throughout, FCS-compatible, and intended for longboards and mid-lengths with center and side boxes.
