幅広いベースを持つ 7.25" のパフォーマンスシングルフィン。J.P St. Pierre による Surfy Surfy テンプレートで、短めのシングルフィンボードや 2+1 のセンター用です。
ワンサイズ 7.25"、ブラックのソリッドファイバーグラス製、標準的なロングボードボックス用です。この高さのフィンとしてはベースが 5.255" と広く、フォイルは 50/50 ですので、どちらの極端でもなくバランスを狙って描かれています。波が求めるときには粘り、ボードがレールに乗ればルースで軽快です。St. Pierre のテンプレートは、2+1 のセッティングと、フルサイズのログ用フィンでは面積が多すぎる短めのパフォーマンスシングルフィンに、まっすぐ狙いを定めています。
どう感じられるか
幅広いベースの上に背の低いフィンが乗ると、ドライブは後ろ足に近い低い位置に置かれます。そのためボードはティップの面積に頼って粘るのではなく、ターンから伸びていきます。50/50 のフォイルは左右どちらでも同じ振る舞いを保ち、それはサイドバイトに挟まれたセンターフィンが求めるところです。偏りが作り込まれていません。レールに乗せて信頼できるだけの粘りがあり、上部の面積は小さいのでテールはきちんと離れます。
どんな方に向くか
エッグ、ハイパフォーマンスロングボード、ミッドレングスに。短めのボードのシングルフィンとして、あるいはサイドバイトが粘りを担う 2+1 の要としてお使いいただけます。ノーズに立つつもりのトラディショナルなログには高さが足りません。
